New Delhi, 1 June (IANS). Adani Group will invest $ 15-20 billion in various businesses in the next five years. The group chairman Gautam Adani has said this, citing the company’s strong balance sheet and growth.
In the latest annual report by Group’s leading company, Adani Enterprises, the billionaire industrialist said, “Despite facing constant acquisition and intensive investigation, the Adani Group never retreated. It changed its strategy instead and emerged as a more flexible, combined and unbreakable.”
Gautam Adani wrote, “Despite harsh adverse circumstances and continuous investigation – we never back down. Instead – we made changes inside ourselves. We have imagined again. And, we have become – more turned, more unwavering, more strong and more flexible.”
He said, “Our faith is based on clarity. Our objectives are in line with the ambitions of India. Our strength comes from the belief that you, our shareholders, keep us on us.”
He said that “Every challenge strengthens our resolve. Every obstacle becomes a ladder.”
He said, “We live in a world where negativity often resonates more than the truth. But, we cooperate in legal processes and I also want to repeat – insisting – that our operation is of global standards, our compliance structures are strong and we do not compromise them.”
From ports to airports, renewable energy production to data centers, defense construction and city gas – the business of Adani Group has increased over the years.
Gautam Adani said, “History should be remembered not for the size of our balance sheet, but for our spine strength; not only for the markets in which we entered, but also for the storms in which we worked and emerged firmly. When everything is good, it is easy to lead, but the true leadership is easy to face, but the true leadership is faced by the crisis.”
He said, “These figures tell their interesting story – in one year of record breaking revenue, unprecedented growth and historical profit – the deep truth is that these milestones are reflections of our tireless strength and perseverance. They are evidence of a group that dare to dream beyond obstacles, the power of a nation behind it is the power of every breath.”
