New Delhi, May 11 (IANS). Gold and silver prices continue to rise. In the last one week, the price of 10 grams of gold of 24 carats has been increased by Rs 2,400 and silver price has increased by more than Rs 1,600 per kg.

According to the India Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 24 carat gold has increased to Rs 96,416 per 10 grams, which was Rs 93,954 per 10 grams on May 3, which shows an increase of Rs 2,462 in the price of gold.

The price of 22 carat gold has increased to Rs 94,100 per 10 grams, the price of 20 carat gold has increased to Rs 85,810 per 10 grams and 18 carat gold price has increased to Rs 78,100 per 10 grams.

Apart from this, silver prices have also seen an increase of Rs 1,601 per kg. The price of one kilo of silver has increased to Rs 95,726 per kg, which was on 3 May at Rs 94,125 per kg.

Along with domestic, there has been an increase in gold and silver prices in international markets. The price of gold has risen to $ 3,344 an ounce, which was at $ 3,246 an ounce earlier this week. At the same time, the price of silver has increased from $ 32.20 an ounce to $ 32.90 an ounce during this period.

The price of gold and silver is being seen in the rapid trend since the beginning of this year. Since January 1, the price of 10 grams of gold of 24 carat has increased from Rs 76,162 to Rs 20,254 or 26.59 percent to Rs 96,416.

During this period, the price of silver has increased from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 9,709 or 11.28 percent to Rs 95,726 per kg.
