According to the India Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of gold of 24 carats has reduced by Rs 45 to Rs 95,471. Earlier, the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 95,516 per 10 grams.

The price of 22 carat gold has come down to Rs 87,451 per 10 grams, which was earlier at Rs 87,493 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 18 carat gold has come down to Rs 71,603 per 10 grams, which was earlier Rs 71,637.

Unlike gold, silver prices have seen a rise. The price of silver has increased by Rs 390 to Rs 96,909 per kg, which was earlier Rs 96,519 per kg.

Gold and silver also showed opposite trends in the futures market. The price of the contract of gold on 5 June 2025 has increased by 0.59 percent to Rs 96,100. The price of silver 4 July 2025 has been reduced by 0.60 percent to Rs 97,212.

Cama Jewelery MD Colin Shah said, “Bullion market performed unstable this week due to frequent fluctuations. Gold prices in international markets rose strongly during the week and by Friday morning it increased by 3 percent to 3,303.92 US $ 3,303.92 per ounce. He further said that during the week in the domestic market, gold prices were in the range of Rs 93,000 to Rs 96,000 per 10 grams. The reason for this was the influence of international factors, which led to the rise in gold prices in the domestic market.
