New Delhi, 11 July (IANS). Gold and silver prices saw an increase on Friday. 24 carat gold prices increased by Rs 465 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of silver has reached all-time high.
According to the price released by the India Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) in the evening, the price of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs 465 to Rs 97,511 per 10 grams, which was Rs 97,046 per 10 grams on Thursday.
The price of 10 grams of gold of 22 carat has increased to Rs 89,320, which was earlier Rs 88,894 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 10 grams of 18 carats has increased to Rs 73,133, which was earlier Rs 72,785 per 10 grams.
The prices of gold and evening gold are released twice a day by IBJA.
Along with gold, the price of silver has also increased and it has reached all-time high. In the last 24 hours, the price of silver has increased by Rs 2,356 to Rs 1,10,290 per kg, which was earlier Rs 1,07,934 per kg. Earlier on June 18, the previous silver all-time high was Rs 1,09,550 per kg.
In the international market, gold and silver prices are also seeing a rise. By the time the news was written, the gold gained 1.01 percent to $ 3,358 an ounce and silver 2.92 percent to $ 38.40 an ounce.
Jatin Trivedi of LKP Securities said that gold prices increased by 0.70 percent. The reason for this is to increase the possibility of new trade charges. Markets have begun to evaluate the adverse effects of new trade stresses with the US imposing new fees on Canada and Brazil.
He further said that due to increasing uncertainty, the sentiment has once again come in the gold side. Its support is between Rs 95,000 to Rs 95,500, while the blockage is around Rs 99,500.
