Share Market Closing 1st February, 2025: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget of FY 2025-26 in Parliament today. In this budget, the middle class was the highest focus on the middle class and the income up to Rs 12 lakh was made tax free. However, the stock market did not like the government’s budget. On Saturday, the open stock market closed with despair on the holiday. Today, the BSE Sensex closed at 77,505.96 points with a gain of 5.39 points. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index fell by 26.25 points to close at 23,482.15 points.

Market declines after the budget was presented

Let us tell you that the market was trading with a good lead in the middle of the budget speech, but the government did not make any special announcement for the industry, due to which the market suddenly hit a sharp turn and got into the red mark with great decline. Since then, there was a frequent ups and downs in the market and finally the Nifty closed in the red mark, the Sensex remained flat and included business in the green mark.

Jomato has a stormy boom in shares

On Saturday, 16 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark with a rise, while the remaining 14 companies closed with a decline in red mark. Similarly, the shares of 22 out of 50 of Nifty 50 also closed in green mark with a rapidly in green mark and the remaining 28 companies in red mark. Today, Jomato’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed down 7.17 percent, while Powergrid’s shares closed down 3.71 percent.

Maruti Suzuki’s shares also showed a strong rise

Other companies involved in the Sensex today shares of Maruti Suzuki shares 4.98 percent, ITC Hotels 4.71 percent, ITC 3.33 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 2.96 percent, Asian Paints 2.16 percent, Titan 1.81 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.76 percent, Bajaj Finance 1.58 percent, Hindustan Unilever 1.45 percent, Axis Bank 1.24 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.98 percent, Nestle India 0.50 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.38 percent, ICICI Bank 0.24 percent and Sunforma’s shares closed with a gain of 0.05 percent.

Shares of these companies closed with a decline

On the budget day, Larsen & Toubro shares 3.36 percent, NTPC 2.04 percent, UltraTech Cement 2.03 percent, HCL Tech 1.87 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.65 percent, Infosys 1.50 percent, Adani Ports 1.47 percent, Tata Motors 1.38 percent, Tata Steel 1.26 percent, Indian State Bank fell down 0.91 percent, TCS 0.86 percent, HDFC Bank 0.55 percent and Bharti Airtel shares closed down by 0.26 percent.
