एचएएल ने स्मॉल सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल बनाने की बोली जीती

New Delhi, 20 June (IANS). Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has won bids to make small satellite launch vehicles for the country. This information was issued by the company.

The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (In-Space) announced the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) technology from HAL, ISRO.

The statement said that it is one of the largest technology transfer to an Indian commercial unit through ISRO through in-space.

The technology transfer agreement will be signed between HAL, NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), ISRO and In-Space. The agreement involves comprehensive training and assistance to HAL personnel by ISRO teams in both ISRO and HAL facilities for the construction and launch of two SSLVs over the next two years.

The statement further stated that under the review of the bid, an intensive assessment process was followed with various technology and financial readiness levels. In this process, which continued for several months, HAL has emerged as the most bidding company to achieve and start SSLV technology.

Pawan Goenka, president of the in-space, said, “Under the transfer agreement of this technology, HAL will have the ability to independently manufacture, ownership and commercialize SSLV projections.”

Goenka said, “India is looking towards realizing the dream of creating a $ 44 billion space economy by 2033, so it is mandatory to create a strong public-private-procurement model.

HAL President D.K. Sunil said, “We are eager to work together under the guidance of ISRO and In-Space to progress in steps and achieve final objectives. We are confident of pursuing a streamlined ecosystem that enables launching smaller satellites more than the ports of India.”
