The Haryana government has increased the validity of the All India Tourist Permit for vehicles in the state from 9 years to 12 years. Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij gave this information on Monday. According to PTI news, the minister said that the validity of tourist permits for petrol/CNG vehicles in the NCR region has been increased from 9 years to 12 years, while it has been increased from 9 to 10 years for diesel vehicles in NCR.
Relief for petrol/CNG and diesel trains
According to the news, the validity of both petrol/CNG and diesel vehicles in non-NCR regions has been increased from 9 years to 12 years. He said that an official notification in this regard will be issued soon to ensure that the stakeholders of the tourism sector do not face any difficulty. According to an official statement, Vij said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has approved the proposal in this regard on Monday.

Let us tell you, the officials of Ambala Taxi Operator Union recently submitted a memorandum to the Transport Minister requesting equality in the validity period of the tourist permit. The statement said that after this the Transport Department prepared a proposal under the instructions of the Transport Minister, which has now received the approval of the government.
In a recent memorandum, Ambala Taxi Operators Union highlighted that under the All India Permit Policy of the Central Government, states like Punjab and Himachal Pradesh give 12 years permits, while in Haryana the period is 9 years. The statement said that this expansion of 12 years is expected to benefit all the stakeholders of the tourism and transport sector.
