Preparation to increase Rs 2,500 billion

According to information received from media reports on Tuesday, Pakistan’s coalition government is preparing to increase the defense spending by 18 percent to more than Rs 2,500 billion due to tension with India. The government is preparing to present a budget of 2025-26 in the first week of June before the new financial year starting from July 1.
