Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently visited Hyperloop Testing Facility in IIT Madras.

410 meters is length

Ashwini Vaishnav said that IIT Madras is the longest hyperloop testing facility in Asia, 410 meter long hyperloop test tube and will soon be the world’s longest hyperloop test tube. Let us tell you that in 2013, Ellon Musk first showed the whole world hyperloop. Hyperloop technology is a high speed transport system that can operate pods in a vacuum-seal tube at a speed of more than 1000 km per hour.

Union Minister shared video

The Union Minister also revealed a plan to develop electronic components for hyperloop at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, which highlighted India’s commitment to the development of indigenous technology. Transport can be completely changed through hyperloop. The minister has also shared a video of the live demo of Hyperloop in IIT Madras on his social media accounts.

Railway Ministry had allocated Rs 8.34 crore

Let us tell you that the Ministry of Railways had allocated Rs 8.34 crore to IIT Madras for indigenous development of hyperloop technology in May 2022. Ashwini Vaishnav said that the entire testing system for hyperloop transport has been developed using indigenous techniques, for which he congratulated all the students involved in it.
