Ahmedabad, 28 April (IANS). Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced financial results on Monday. He said that in FY 2024-25, his EBITDA crossed one billion dollars. During this time, the company remained the highest renewable energy capacity in the country with an increase of 30 percent. His total capacity is 14.2 gigawatts.
Adaani Group company reported that the financial year 2024-25 recorded its 3.3 GW of greenfield growth, which is the highest growth so far by any renewable energy company in the country. The company contributed 16 percent to the growth of utility-scal solar energy across the country and 14 percent to wind power installations across the country.
According to the company, electricity sales increased by 28 percent to 27,969 million units on a year-on-year basis, which is equal to half of Singapore’s annual power consumption.
The company’s revenue rose 23 percent to Rs 9,495 crore, while EBITDA increased by 22 percent to Rs 8,818 crore. Thus the EBITDA margin was 91.7 percent, which is the best in this industry.
According to Sagar Adani, Executive Director of Adani Green Energy, “We are playing an important role in the country’s renewable energy growth, which is evident from our historic 3.3 gigawatt greenfield capacity growth in FY 2024-25.”
Sagar Adani said, “We have contributed 16 percent in the country’s utility-scale solar energy and 14 percent in wind energy, which sets a new standard for rapid, large-scale renewable energy deployment. He said that the company recorded a 32.4 percent high solar capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25.
