In March it increased to Rs 5 and now in April its price has increased to Rs 10 per piece. The price of lemons in the wholesale market ranges from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 per bag of 300-500. According to Bhujbal, the quantity of lemon in a bag is decided on its size. At present, the price of a lemon in the wholesale market is 8 to 10 rupees. The price is expected to remain the same or rise in the next two months.
Understand in terms of kilos: The price of lemon in the country’s capital Delhi is Rs 350-400 per kg. At the same time, in Mumbai it is Rs 300-350 per kg. Talking about Patna, the capital of Bihar, the price of lemon is Rs 300-330 per kg.

Price increases in summer season: Traders say that every summer, the price of lemons goes up due to increase in demand and less supply. This time also the price of lemon has increased.
