Today we are introducing you to the income tax calendar of 2025. The Income Tax Department has released its tax calendar for the first three months i.e. January, February and March. January
14 January 2025 – Last date for issue of TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194-IA in the month of November, 2024 15 January 2025 – Last date for furnishing Form 24G by any office of the Government. Date of submission of quarterly statement of TCS for the quarter ending January 15, 2025 -December 31, 2024. 15 January 2025 -Date of submission of quarterly statement in respect of foreign remittances (to be furnished by authorized dealers) in Form No. 15CC for the quarter ending December, 2024. 30th January, 2025 -Date of furnishing challan-cum-statement in respect of tax deducted under section 194S (by specified person) in the month of December, 2024. January 31, 2025 -Date for reporting by Sovereign Wealth Fund in respect of investments made in India for the quarter ending December, 2024.
February
7 February 2025 – Last date for deposit of tax deducted for the month of January, 2025. 14 February 2025 -Last date for issue of TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194-IA in the month of December, 2024 15 February 2025 -Last date for furnishing Form 24G by any office of the Government. Last date for submission of quarterly TDS certificate for the quarter ending 15 February 2025 -31 December 2024.

2 March 2025 -Date for submission of challan of tax deducted under section 194-IA in the month of January, 2025. 2 March 2025 – Date for submission of challan in respect of tax deducted under section 194-IB in the month of January, 2025. 7 March 2025 -Date for deposit of tax deducted/collected for the month of January, 2025. 15 March 2025 – Date of deposit of the fourth installment of advance tax for the assessment year 2025-26. 15 March 2025 – Date of payment of the entire amount of advance tax in respect of assessment year 2025-26 for the taxpayer covered under the presumptive scheme of section 44AD/44ADA. March 15, 2025 -Date for furnishing Form 24G by any Government office where TDS/TCS for the month of February, 2025 has been paid without furnishing the challan. 17 March 2025 -Date for issue of TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194-IA in the month of January. 17 March 2025 -Date for issue of TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194-IB in the month of January, 2025. 17 March 2025 -Date of issue of TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194S (by specified person) in the month of January, 2025. 30th March, 2025 -Date of furnishing challan-cum-statement in respect of tax deducted under section 194-IA in the month of February, 2025. 30th March, 2025 -Date of furnishing challan-cum-statement in respect of tax deducted under section 194-IB in the month of February, 2025. 30 March 2025 -Date for submission of challan-cum-statement in respect of tax deducted under section 194-IB. March 31, 2025 -Date for submission of details of foreign income proposed to be taxed in the previous year 2022-23 and tax deducted or paid thereon for claiming foreign tax credit. 31 March 2025 – Last date to file updated return for assessment year 2022-23. Last date for tax saving for financial years ending 31 March 2025 -31.
