New Delhi, 18 April (IANS). Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Jayant Chaudhary has said that India is a major resource talent hub for AI professionals.
He said that the government and industries have made several efforts in preparing the environment to ‘adopt AI’, which are clearly visible in itself.
In Africa’s largest tech and startup show ‘GITX Africa 2025’, the Minister of State said that India’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) has specially introduced major changes in many sectors through digital identity (Aadhaar), Digital Payment (UPI), e-commerce (ONDC) and healthcare development.
Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary told the attendees at the event organized in Morocco’s capital Markesh, “We are working fast on integrating advance technology into our skilling ecosystem, including AI, Cyber Security, Fintech and Digital Infrastructure.”
He added, “A digital public infrastructure for skilling ecosystem, Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) has added more than 1 crore users in just one and a half years.
The three-day program provided a platform for policy makers, transporters and visionaries to consult opportunities to collectively discuss and cooperate.
He said, “India’s digitization speed is much higher than other developing economies and there are also open-sources digital public infrastructure systems in the country. With this, the country can help developed countries with cooperation and knowledge sharing and can help developing countries to speed up digitization.”
During the conference, Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary held bilateral meetings. According to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, in his discussions, Chaudhary discussed widely on AI, research and synergy in capacity.
