New Delhi, 11 July (IANS). Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, said on Friday that India has always given priority to development as a country. He further said that we have never made aggressive intentions towards any other country. However, we reserve the right to answer proper, decisive and on time of our choice.
In the fourth edition of the annual conference of Air Cargo Forum India held in New Delhi, he said that the important thing is that the development of infrastructure should continue. If we especially talk about air scrapes, there are many contradictions and challenges in front of the aviation sector.
He said, “When we talk about air cargo, it includes many dimensions such as regulatory dimensions, economic interests and aspects of infrastructure. The government is giving priority to all of them.”
He further stated that this priority is clear at the level of coordination, as is clear from the Prime Minister’s speed power program.
Emphasizing his point, he said, “The objective of the speed power program is to develop infrastructure in a coordinated manner. Avoid repetitions and reduce the disruption to increase the overall efficiency of the construction of infrastructure. This leads to better delivery of services including air cargo.
Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, referred to the vermilion operation regarding the technological progress developed in the country and the contribution of infrastructure.
He said, “We still remember the unfortunate adventurous adventures done by one of our neighbors, as it was during the operation. We gave them a shock due to the bravery of our armed forces, but it also contributed to the developed technological progress and infrastructure developed in the country. Our economic strength strengthened our ability to respond.”
He added, “We are working to develop a comprehensive aviation ecosystem – not only air infrastructure but also supportive services, including MROs, leasing and funding aircraft, and even exploring possibilities of aircraft manufacturing capabilities in India.”
