Mumbai, June 4 (IANS). India, the US and Mexico have emerged as the most balanced global capacity center (GCC) ecosystem globally. This information was given in a latest report on Wednesday.
In the report, advanced AI used cases including AI, especially GenA, NLP and AI agents have been considered important for GCC maturity.
The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) report states that top -performing companies are moving beyond the pilot and embedding AI in core workflow, but most GCCs are still stuck in the use of the initial stage.
BCG managing director and partner Shreyasha George said, “GCC has always been good in working as an engine room.”
AI has brought a new motion, with which the GCC has been able to lead the change. In the last 18 months, more than 90 percent of the top performers have expanded the AI-Lead Center of Excellence. This trend remains in industries and geographical areas.
The report stated that the GCC, who is ready to lead to lead, must redefine its roles as capacity centers that carry forward the competence.
The report stated that the GCC, which is deeply embedded and co-owning the results, is in the best position to shape the next wave of global enterprise change.
Managing Director and Senior Partner Rajiv Gupta at BCG said, “The further companies have strategically included AI in their operating model, which creates a significant difference at the enterprise level.”
He further said that the focus of leaders has come to deliver some better results than to experiment. GCCs, which perform more than 90 percent top performing, are using advance AI in their businesses. While only 50 percent of the companies are using AI. There is a risk for these companies to lag behind their competitors.
