New Delhi, 2 June (IANS). Errol Musk, father of US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, has appreciated India’s rise as a global power and praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Arol Musk, who visited India, said during a special interview with IANS: “India is already world power.”
This comment of Errol Musk has come at a time when India is getting international recognition for its economic growth and global impact. Recently, in the meeting of the 10th Governing Council of NITI Aayog, it was announced that India has become the fourth largest economy in the world, leaving behind Japan, whose GDP has crossed the $ 4 trillion.
India remains the fastest growing economy in the world and is the only country to grow at a rate of more than 6 percent annually for the next two years. According to the current estimates, India’s GDP is expected to reach $ 5.58 trillion by 2028, which will overtake Germany and become the third largest economy globally.

Question: India is emerging as a global power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. What do you think about this?
Answer: Errol Musk said, I think India is already a world power. When you have the fourth largest GDP in the world, you have a world power – whether you like it or not. India’s humble approach is commendable. Unlike others who aggressively vocal themselves, India quietly contributes to the global community. The world can learn a lot from India. It has a lot to give.
Question: What is your reaction to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam?
Answer: My inclination in this case has always been towards India. I have talked to friends who have traveled by bus from Delhi to Srinagar, and they told how unpredictable and dangerous it can be – do not know when an RPG comes in their way. It is disappointing to see two mature countries involved in such a conflict. It has no meaning. Common people should not face such suffering. If Pakistan is responsible, it should be noted. If India is guilty, it should also be accepted. These are two important countries; They need to find a solution. Because it is enough now.
Question: How do you see India’s progressive schemes to attract global investment in electric vehicles?
Answer: This is a great step. This is the way to move forward – providing convenience, not complex. Developing new technology, vehicles and systems is already very challenging. Governments should make every effort to support innovators, not interrupted them. India’s policies in this direction are encouraging and visionary.
Question: What are your views about the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi?
Answer: He is one of the best leaders in the world today. It is always happy to see them speaking on TV. They behave with confidence and clarity. Under his leadership, India has made a big jump not only economically but also in global diplomacy.
Question: How do you see the chemistry between Prime Minister Modi and your son Allen Musk?
Answer: This is a good relationship. Prime Minister Modi should work in India’s best interest, while Alan should think about Tesla. Global participation works like this. I am confident that understanding of mutual profit will develop between them. As a private person – not as a person speaking on behalf of Tesla, who is a public company – I really believe that Tesla’s manufacturing plant in India will be. This must happen. India is one of the most strategically important countries in the world.
Question: Do you think Alan Musk can become the President of America?
Answer: By the way, he was not born in America, so under the current laws, they are not worthy of it. But the most important thing is that Alan is successful in the private sector. This is where they are the most effective. Nevertheless, anything is possible. If he ever becomes President, he will be incredibly competent President.
Question: What do you think about Hindu customs and Indian spirituality?
Answer: I think if the whole world follows Shiva, then it will be fine. I am not an expert, but I find Hinduism attractive. It is so ancient that it baffles the brain. The depth and history of religion shows us how little we really understand about the past. There is a deep sense of continuity and spirituality in India that makes really humble.
