New Delhi, 19 June (IANS). Pranav Adani, director of Adani Enterprises, said on Thursday that India is doing a great job in moving from energy transition i.e. fossil fuel to green energy and our role is affecting the whole world.
He said this at an event organized here on the occasion of the completion of one year of the think tank ‘Chintan Research Foundation’ (CRF) established by Adani Group. Expressing happiness over the first anniversary of the foundation, Pranav Adani said that the CRF would focus on three-four things. These include climate change, geopolitical issues and economy and trade.
He said, “When we talk about climate change, energy transition plays a big role, and the way India is playing a role today, it is going to have a lot of influence on the whole world. We (Paris) We are moving forward on what we have made in COP. As a nation we are moving well in energy transition. Growing. We feel that India is on the right path. “
Pranav Adani said that CRF would focus on proof -based research. In response to a question, he said that the Research Foundation has a huge contribution in the development of a country, especially when research is on the story of India’s development. The correct picture comes in front of people, and from the same point of view we want to play our role.
In response to a question asked in the context of the geopolitical tension released in West Asia, Pranav Adani said that there is some concern about the assets located abroad, but “all our assets are safe and we do not need to panic much.”
Shishir Priyadarshi, president of the Chintan Research Foundation, told about one year of achievements that the Foundation has achieved much more than what he thought. In a year, 50 oped and 150 articles have been published and have done seven-eight big events. It has been a very satisfactory and hard work journey. We have tried to be intellectually honest. Maybe what we write is not the most appropriate, there are more ideas of some people, but we want to be quite honest and self -sufficient at the level of editorial.
He said that the CRF’s moto is to go to the action action, the action that will bring changes. He said that change should also be such that the basis of progress focused on common people. If you are unable to reach the last person of the village, then it will not be appropriate.
Shishir Priyadarshi said that zero net emission has to be achieved, but do not forget your development. Equality and justice also have to be maintained. It should not happen that we should move forward without making alternative arrangements for those whose livelihood is on fossil fuels.
