New Delhi, May 29 (IANS). The Artificial Intelligence (AI) race has just begun and Indian AI models will solve many problems in the world. G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant made this statement on Thursday.
Amitabh Kant said at the CII Annual Business Summit 2025, “We have used Open Source, Open API and Global Interopeble model in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and these models will be the way for us.”
Kant said in his address, “India should develop good foundational models. I think the country will be able to provide foundational models for many problems of the world in the coming times.”
According to Amitabh Kant, India will use 22 languages and thousands of dialects to find a solution to many challenges of the world.
Talking about the ease of doing business, the G20 Sherpa said that the central government has done the work of forming Aadhaar and now the time has come from the states to improve.
He also urged the industry to invest in research and development to develop state -of -the -art techniques to maintain India’s rapid development.
Amitabh Kant said that Quality Control Orders (QCO) should be rationalized to develop the Indian industry. To make the Indian industry more competitive, he suggested that the state industry leased land for long periods and privatizes them to make Discom more efficient.
Amitabh Kant said that tourism is another great area for development.
He said, “To attract tourists on a large scale, we need to launch a huge incredible India campaign. It is India’s soft power. It will have a huge multiplier effect in terms of jobs and it can create millions of jobs. States should carry forward the tourism sector as a driver of development.”
CII nominated for the post of president (2024-25) and EY India Chairman and CEO Rajiv Memani said that India has done a lot of work in the manufacturing sector and needs to be further promoted. He advocated the need for second generation reforms and alternative dispute resolve.
