Paris, 11 February (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that it is a pleasure to organize the next summit from India to increase the pace of AI Action Summit.
In his closing address, PM Modi said that today’s discussion has revealed that there is unity in the attitude and purpose of all the parties.
The Prime Minister said, “I welcome the decision to establish the AI Foundation and the Council for Sustainable AI.”
He said, “I congratulate France and my dear friend President Emmanuel Macron for these initiatives and assure our full support.”
The Prime Minister suggested creating a “global partnership for AI”.
Earlier, while addressing the ‘AI Action Summit’, Prime Minister Modi had said that India is developing the Artificial Intelligence (AI) application for public good and the country has the world’s largest AI talent pool.
Along with this, he further said that India is making its own large language model (LLM) in view of its diversity.
“We also have a unique public-private partnership model to collect resources like computing power,” the Prime Minister said. It has been made available to our start-ups and researchers at affordable prices. “
Prime Minister Modi further said, “AI can change the lives of millions of people through health, agriculture and others. It can help in creating a world in which the journey of sustainable development goals will be easy and intensified.”
On the debate over the end of jobs due to AI, the Prime Minister said that history is witness that work does not end due to technology.
He added, “The types of jobs change and new types of jobs are created. We have to invest in skills and randy, so that people can be ready for the future to be operated by AI.”
