Mumbai, June 20 (IANS). The Indian stock market opened in a green mark on Friday amid positive Asian signals. PSU banks, IT and auto sectors were seen in early trade.
At around 9.25 am, the Sensex was trading at 228.15 points or 0.28 percent to 81,590.02, while the Nifty was trading at 55.10 points or 0.22 percent to 24,848.35.

According to analysts, the Nifty has been trading within a radius of 24,500–25,000 for the last one month and is likely to remain in the same realm in the near future of the index. The upper part of this realm will only break down on the news of the Israeli-Iran struggle decreasing or the sudden end of the war.
Dr. VK Vijaykumar, the main investment strategist of Geojit Investment Limited, said, “There is uncertainty on this. The lower part of this realm is unlikely to break, as large shopping, especially by domestic institutions, will emerge on the decline. If the war continues and the price of crude oil goes above $ 85, the lower part of this range will break.”
Meanwhile, the Sensex pack consisted of Bajaj Finserv, UltraTech Cement, M&M, Eternal, SBI, Axis Bank and Sun Pharma Top Gainers. Whereas, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tech Mahindra, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Powergrid were the top losis.
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) continued their purchases for the third consecutive day on June 19 and bought shares worth Rs 934.62 crore. On the other hand, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) also continued their purchases and bought shares worth Rs 605.97 crore on the same day.
