Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Wednesday that the number of crude oil suppliers of the country has increased to 40, which was earlier 27. Question-What will be the effect of Israel-Iran struggle on the supply of petrol and diesel in India?
Answer – Between Israel and Iran struggle, I want to clarify that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in the country and there is no need to worry at this time. Currently there is no shortage of crude oil in the world and the number of our crude oil suppliers has now increased to 40, which was earlier 27. Apart from this, we are also producing crude oil ourselves. Our output is also increasing and we have a lot of stock.
Question – What are the major achievements of the Ministry of Petroleum in the last 11 years?
Answer – Our job is to ensure uninterrupted supply of petrol -diesel and LPG in the country. The Ujjwala scheme has been launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2016. Now 10.33 crore poor families are getting the benefit of this scheme. Earlier only gas cylinders were limited to urban areas, but the Modi government has ensured that LPG cylinders reach easily in rural areas of the country. In 2014, we started biofuel blending from 1.4 percent, which has reached 20 percent today.
Question – India has become the fourth economy in the world, is the world considering the strength of India?
Answer – India has currently increased from two trillion dollars to four trillion dollar economy and is growing at an annual growth rate of 6.5 percent. At this time, the country will become an economy of up to eight trillion dollars in the coming time. The growth of the country’s economy directly affects citizens. Economic activity in the country also increases and per capita income increases. The world is interconnected so the exchange of goods and services will increase. Increasing the economy increases your acceptance in the world.
