New Delhi, 7 June (IANS). The fourth meeting of the Indo-Central Asia Dialogue was held in New Delhi between India and Central Asian countries. In this meeting, India and five Central Asian countries expressed interest in the joint discovery of rare Earth minerals (rare meanings) and important minerals after prohibiting the export of rare minerals and magnets found on Earth in this meeting.
Appreciating the results of the first India-Central Asia Rare Earth Forum held in New Delhi in September 2024, the ministers called upon the officials concerned to hold the second India-Sentral Asia Rare Earth Forum meeting as soon as possible.
The ministers also encouraged the exchange of delegations to detect new areas of cooperation in important minerals.
The Government of India wants to develop domestic manufacturing capabilities and is considering giving production-based fiscal incentives to companies in the field of rare meaning material.
Meanwhile, foreign ministers from Kazakhstan, Republic of Kyrgyz, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan paid attention to the current level of trade and investment between India and Central Asian countries. Also, to realize the full potential of mutual trade, emphasized the importance of making concrete efforts in pharmaceuticals, information technology, agriculture, energy, gems, gems and jewelery etc.
According to the statement of the Ministry of External Affairs, ministers underlined the importance of more financial contact between India and Central Asian countries, including the digital payment system, better inter-bank relations, and business in national currencies.
According to the statement, recognizing the important role of financial and banking relations, the parties also expressed interest in the establishment of a joint working group to detect banking and methods to deepen banking and financial interaction between India and Central Asian partners.
Central Asian countries focused on the importance of India Stack in accelerating digital changes and providing large -scale public service distribution.
India agreed to assist in developing Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in Central Asian countries.
The ministers also agreed to establish the India-Central Asia Digital Partnership Forum and welcomed Uzbekistan’s proposal to host the inaugural meeting.
