New Delhi, June 17 (IANS) The country’s legendary airline companies IndiGo and Air India on Tuesday issued travel advisory for passengers of Delhi. In this, passengers have been advised by the airlines to check the status of the flight before leaving the house due to rain.
The post done by IndiGo on social media platform ‘X’ said that traffic in Delhi often slows down. For this reason, if you are departing towards the airport, then we recommend that we leave the house only after seeing the status of the flight on our app and website.
The post further stated that our teams are working for the stable operation of the operations 24 hours.
Air India had said in its post on social media platform ‘X’ that due to bad weather in Delhi, our flights are being affected and some flights are being diverted. Please check your flight status before going to the airport. Earlier in another post, Air India released a similar advisory for Mumbai.
Earlier, IndiGo announced new flights to connect different cities of Assam to different parts of the country.
The company said that the new flight on the Delhi-Jorhat road will begin on September 20. At the same time, morning daily service will be started on Guwahati-Sildhar and Guwahati-Dibrugarh routes. At the same time, Guwahati-Navi Mumbai flight will be started in Winter Schedule 2025.
According to DGCA data, IndiGo is the largest airline in the country based on passenger passenger market share. Indigo’s passenger market share in April was 64.1 percent. At the same time, the market share of Air India Group at number two was 27.2 percent. SpiceJet had a market share of 2.6 percent.
