The IRFC had stated in an exchange filing of March 10 that the company has fixed a record date for the second interim dividend for the current financial year on 21 March. On Friday, March 21, the company shares will trade X-Dividend. Therefore, investors will not get the benefit of dividend on new shares to be purchased on March 21. After the market closure on Thursday, March 20, you will be given dividend on the same shares as many shares of the company will be in your demat account. The money of this second interim dividend given by the company will be transferred to the bank account of investors on or before April 16.
