New Delhi, October 15 (IANS). Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia participated in the India Mobile Congress 2024 on Tuesday. During this, he interacted with the soldiers deployed in the border areas through video conferencing organized through satellite communication of telecom company Airtel.
In this exhibition, soldiers from the border areas of Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh were connected through video conferencing through satellite communication by Airtel. In this, the soldiers situated at a height of about 14,000-18,000 feet talked to the Union Minister.
Jyotiraditya Scindia “heartily thanked” the soldiers for their service.
Apart from this, he also interacted with Ericsson’s 5G-powered robotic dog ‘Rocky’ during the exhibition at ‘India Mobile Congress 2024’. This robotic dog can help officers deal with emergency situations like fire. It is capable of navigating in difficult terrain, detecting threats such as fire to ensure safety.
The eighth edition of India Mobile Congress was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital Delhi. During this, PM Modi also visited the exhibition area.
Along with this, BluetSA 2024 is also being organized at Bharat Mandapam which will provide a platform to the countries to discuss and decide on the future of standards of next generation critical technologies like 6G, AI, IoT, Big Data, Cyber Security etc. Is being done.
