Business News Desk: The stock market will remain open for 1 hour on 1 November 2024, the auspicious day of Lakshmi Puja on Diwali. Officially, November 1 is a public, bank and stock market holiday. However, the trading window will be opened for investors to buy/sell only for one hour. In simple terms this special live trading session is called Muhurat Trading. This time the Muhurat trading session will be on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm. According to the website of BSE and NSE, Muhurat trading will take place on November 01, 2024 (Diwali – Lakshmi Puja). Trading in equities, equity derivatives, commodities, bonds and current markets on BSE and NSE will be allowed during this one-hour Spashan Muhurta live session. Pre- and post-market settlements will also take place in the 1-hour session. In simple words, in that one hour the market will open like its regular trading days.
Thimuhurta trading on 12th November last year
Last year, muhurat trading took place on November 12, 2023 and its timing was 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm. Pre and post market settlement session was of 15 minutes. Overall, the market was open from 6 pm to 7.30 pm.
