Mumbai, May 27 (IANS). The results of the fourth quarter of FY 25 were released by Laxmi Dental on Tuesday. The company’s profit in the January-March period has reduced by about 44 percent to Rs 4.2 crore on an annual basis, which was Rs 7.7 crore in the same period last year.
The company said in the exchange filing that on the quarterly basis, there has been a reduction of 12.5 percent of the company’s profits. Laxmi Dental’s profit was at Rs 4.8 crore in the December quarter of FY 25.
The reason for decreasing profits is believed to be an increase in expenditure. The company’s total expenditure was Rs 56.69 crore in the March quarter of FY 25, which is 18 percent more than Rs 48.02 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. On a quarterly basis, the company’s spending has been reduced by about 1.5 percent, which was at Rs 57.53 crore in the December quarter.
The company’s total income in the March quarter of FY 25 was Rs 62.29 crore. In this, the total income of the same period of FY 24 has increased by Rs 12.53 percent against Rs 55.35 crore. However, the total income on a quarterly basis has been almost the same. The total income of the company in the December quarter was Rs 62.24 crore.
The profit of Lakshmi Dental for the entire FY 25 has been Rs 31.83 crore, which is 26 percent more than Rs 25.22 crore for FY 24. During this period, the total income of the company also increased from Rs 195 crore to Rs 242 crore.
At the same time, the total expenditure of the company in FY 25 has increased by 16 percent to Rs 217 crore on an annual basis, which was Rs 186 crore in FY 24.
