New Delhi, March 26 (IANS). A great scheme has been started for passengers traveling in Namo Bharat trains. NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation) has recently launched a new Loyalty Point Program, under which passengers can earn a loyalty point on each rupee spent on their journey.
Points can be redeemed for free travel when deposited to a minimum of 300. Passengers can book digital QR tickets using Namo Bharat app or pay from the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). A loyalty point will be available at the expense of each rupee, which will cost 10 paise.
For example, if a passenger pays a rent of Rs 100, he will get 100 loyalty points, whose total price will be Rs 10. A provision has been made to redeem up to 5 trips simultaneously for passengers to redeem their loyalty points repeatedly.
The redeemed trips will be valid for 7 days. NCMC users can check their accumulated points at ticket vending machines (TVM), ticket reader or counter. This facility is available with NCMC card issued by any bank or transport authority.
At the same time, passengers booking tickets through Namo Bharat app can easily see and redeem their points. New users will get a welcome bonus of 50 (500 loyalty points) on downloading the Namo Bharat app. In addition, under the referral program, users can refer their friends and earn additional 500 loyalty points.
This initiative of NCRTC will not only benefit the passengers financially, but will also promote paperless ticketing. Through this, passengers will get the experience of convenient, inexpensive and environment-friendly travel. Namo Bharat app is available at Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This program is a great opportunity for regular passengers, from which they can save on every trip.
