Indore, July 11 (IANS). An investment proposal of more than 30 thousand crore rupees has been received in the growth conclave held in Indore, the business city of Madhya Pradesh. Through this, employment opportunities will be created for 15 thousand people.
In the areas of ‘Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave 2025’ at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore, investment proposals of more than 30 thousand crore rupees have been received in the areas of Industry, Hotel, Real Estate, Education, Renewal Energy, IT etc. With this, more than 15 thousand employment opportunities will be created in the state and urban and industrial development will get new heights.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on this occasion that real estate is the most progressive sector in the country today and this sector is giving great support in the Navnirman of the country. The development of the country is inherent in the development of real estate. We will bring prosperity in the lives of citizens by facing similar growth in all the big cities of the state to encourage this sector and provide houses to everyone.
He said that the real estate sector is now contributing up to 8.5 percent to the GDP of the country, which was only three percent. Giving the example of Gujarat’s ‘Gift City’, he said that 10 such smart cities will be developed in Madhya Pradesh. 10 lakh new houses will be prepared in the state. Also, special growth conclave will be organized for different sectors, which will give new pace and new direction to the industrial development of the state.
The Chief Minister also gave a gift of Rs 12 thousand 360 crore for the development of the state. He also performed Bhoomi Pujan of more than Rs 5,454 crore development works for construction of water supply, sewerage, sanitation and infrastructure. On this occasion, more than Rs 2,799 crore grant was also distributed to more than 65 thousand beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). CM Yadav said that solar energy, green field high-way, township and smart city project will be promoted in the state.
The highest investment of Rs 12,473 crore has been received in the industrial sector. Similarly, proposals of Rs 3,344 crore in the hotel area, Rs 1,812.14 crore in real estate sector, Rs 72.45 crore in education sector, Rs 500 crore in renewable energy sector and Rs 100 crore in IT sector have been received for investment of Rs 100 crore.
Proposals for investment of more than Rs 2,784 crore have been received from 12 investors under Indore and Bhopal Development Authority. Urban bodies have been given a grant of more than Rs 1,320 crore for infrastructure development.
Chief Minister Yadav said that ‘Next Horizon – Building Cities of Tumaro Conclave’ will provide a new flight to the cities of Madhya Pradesh. Sulabh, Swift and safe transport are the backbone of any modern city. Keeping in mind the transportation needs of the future, Bhopal and Indore Metro projects are being fulfilled rapidly. Multimodal transport hubs are being developed in cities like Jabalpur and Gwalior. In Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Sagar cities, 582 electric buses will be run under the Pradhan Mantri E-Bus Seva Yojana.
