Greater Noida, 28 March (IANS). The 84th board meeting of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority was held on Friday in the Hall of the Authority. The meeting was chaired by Chairman and Principal Secretary of the Authority, Department of Industrial Development, Alok Kumar.
During this, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Arun Veer Singh presented agenda related to various departments. Many important decisions were taken in the meeting, which will affect industrial and infrastructure development. In this board meeting, a big decision has been taken regarding land acquisition.
In the meeting, rates were revised for land acquisition from farmers in village Akalpur, Maqsoodpur and Myana located in Jewar Tehsil of Gautam Buddha Nagar. Now farmers will be given Rs 4,300 per square meter (including 100 percent to). Earlier, this rate was fixed only for the airport project, but now all the affected farmers will get compensation at this rate.
The Yamuna Expressway Authority has proposed a budget of Rs 9,700 crore for the financial year 2025-26. This is Rs 5,000 crore more than the previous year, which is considered a major achievement. A large part of this budget will be installed in Noida International Airport, Land Acquisition and other development projects.
1,102 crore rupees will be spent for the development of the airport. In view of security, campus will be set up for CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) at the airport. In this, arrangements will be made for 477 flats and unmarried 544 people for married personnel. In addition, a rescue center will also be set up near the airport.
ESIC (Employees State Insurance Corporation) will be allotted 30 acres of land in Yamuna Authority area. ESIC will establish the country’s first health university, which will also have facilities for cancer and trauma centers. The office will be opened to set up a heritage center in Mathura.
The authority has decided to overcome all obstacles to carry forward the plan to settle heritage city. Other important decisions have increased the allocation rates of industrial, residential, commercial and institutional assets. A total of 15 lakh 65 thousand card holders in the city will be connected with various services. 7.50 lakh people will be provided facilities in the Yamuna Authority area.
