Some post offices will remain closed on Monday 21 July. There will be no work in the post office on this day. If you are planning to go to the post office for some work on Monday, then check whether the post office will be open or closed. Due to the closure of the post office, there is no strike or movement, but computer software update. Post offices across the country will not be closed on Monday. Only some places in Delhi will not work. Actually, computer software is being updated in post offices. Therefore, some post offices of Delhi will not work on that day. The Department of Posts has given this information. The postal department said that this is because they are converting their computer system into the new version (2.0) of the APT application (2.0).

Which post offices will remain closed?

A list of which post offices will be closed on Monday in Delhi have also been released. According to the list, Aliganj, Amar Colony, Andrewjganj, CGO Complex, Dargah Sharif, Defense Colony, District Court Complex Saket, East of Kailash Phase 1, East of Kailash, Gautam Nagar, Golf Links, Gulmohar Park, Hari Nagar Ashram, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Jangpura, Kasturba Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Malviya City, MMTC-STC Colony, Nehru Nagar, ND South Extension-2, Panchsheel Enclave, Pragati Vihar, Pratap Market, Pushp Vihar, Sadiq Nagar, Safdarjung Airport, Saket, Sant Nagar, Sarvodaya Enclave, South Malviya Nagar, Srinivaspuri, Srinivaspuri and Jeevan Nagar Dak Office will remain closed.

Why is the software being changed?
The postal department said that on July 21, work will be closed for some time to start the new digital system safely. There will be no work in the post offices mentioned above on 21 July. This is necessary so that data can be inserted in the new system, the system can be tested and necessary changes can be made. This will enable the new system to work smoothly and efficiently.
