The Indian stock market is also open on Tuesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex today opened 268 points to 72,817 against the previous shutdown. The market is also seeing a decline in early trade. The Sensex was seen trading at 72,665 with a decline of 0.55 per cent or 411 points. In early trade, 27 of the 30 shares of the Sensex were seen trading on the red mark and 3 shares on the green mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s index Nifty appeared trading at 21,974 in early trade, 0.65 per cent or 144 points. Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 2 shares were on green mark and 48 shares were on red mark.
Decline in these shares
The biggest decline in shares of Nifty Pack appeared 2.60 per cent in HCL Tech, 2.50 per cent in Tech Mahindra, 2.43 per cent in ONGC, 2.03 per cent in Nestle India and 1.89 per cent in Wipro. Apart from this, the highest rose was seen in SBI 1.63 per cent, BEL 0.95 per cent, ICICI Bank 0.64 per cent, HDFC Bank 0.34 per cent and Adani Enterprises 0.13 per cent.
Condition of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, today most are seen trading on the red mark. The biggest decline was seen in Nifty IT 2.12 per cent. Apart from this, 1.06 percent in Nifty Auto, 0.82 per cent in Nifty FMCG, 0.61 per cent in Nifty Media, 0.73 per cent in Nifty Metal, 0.81 per cent in Nifty Pharma, 0.15 % in Nifty Private Bank, 0.99 % in Nifty Private Bank, 0.99 per cent in Nifty Realty, 0.86 per cent in Nifty Healthcare Index Durables declined 0.72 per cent, Nifty Oil & Gas 1.21 per cent in Nifty Midsmall Healthcare and 1.90 per cent in Nifty Midsmall IT & Telecom. Apart from this, Nifty PSU Bank gained 0.13 per cent, Nifty Financial Services 0.07 per cent and Nifty Bank 0.04 per cent.
