Share Market Live Update: After a strong start, the stock market has faltered. Sensex breaks 32.61 points 57,134.13 level has been reached. Nifty is at the level of 17,180.20 with a slight increase of 6.55 (0.04%) points.

In early trade, the Sensex rose by 170 points to reach the level of 57336. Whereas, Nifty was trading at 17225 with a loss of 52 points. In early trade, except Bharti Airtel, Infosys, HDFC Bank and HDFC, all the stocks were on the green mark on the Sensex. Adani Wilmar set another new record today. A new 52-week peak was reached today at 698.25. At the same time, Baba Ramdev’s company Ruchi Soya is also seeing a rise of 2.04 percent.
Monday’s condition
The trend of decline in the domestic stock markets continued on Monday and the BSE Sensex closed with a dive of 1,172.19 points. Infosys, HDFC Ltd., which have a strong share in the index, amid a weak trend in other Asian markets. And the market remained at a loss with the fall in HDFC Bank. This is the fourth consecutive trading session when the market has come down.
The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 57,166.74, down 1,172.19 points, or 2.01 per cent. During trading, it had gone down by 1,496.54 points or 2.56 percent. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also closed at 17,173.65, down 302 points, or 1.73 per cent. Foreign institutional investors sold shares worth a net Rs 2,061.04 crore on Wednesday, according to stock market data.
HDFC Bank closed at Rs 1,398.50, down 4.53 per cent. However, according to the announcement made on Saturday, the net profit of the private sector bank jumped 22.8 percent to Rs 10,055.2 crore in the quarter ended March 2022. In other Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi, China’s Shanghai Composite and Japan’s Nikkei were the losers. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was closed for the holiday.
