The Indian stock market closed with gains on Friday, the last trading day of the week. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened with gains today at 78,607.62. In early trade it was seen trading at 78,752 with a gain of 0.40 percent or 305 points. In early trading, out of 30 Sensex shares, 26 shares were on the green mark and 4 shares were on the red mark. On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 23,827 with a gain of 0.32 percent or 76 points in early trade. Out of 50 shares of Nifty pack, 34 shares were seen trading in the green mark, 15 in the red mark and 1 with no change.

Status of Nifty pack shares

Talking about the shares of Nifty pack, in early trade, a rise of 2.22 percent was seen in Bajaj Auto, 1.95 percent in Trent, 1.72 percent in IndusInd Bank, 1.50 percent in Bajaj Finance and 1.49 percent in Tata Motors. Apart from this, a decline of 0.68 percent was seen in HCL Tech, 0.66 percent in Apollo Hospital, 0.41 percent in TCS, 0.33 percent in Hindalco and 0.21 percent in Larsen & Toubro.

Situation of sectoral indices

Talking about sectoral indices, the maximum rise of 1.44 percent was seen in Nifty Auto. Apart from this, 0.44 percent in Nifty Bank, 0.41 percent in Nifty Financial Services, 0.08 percent in Nifty FMCG, 0.56 percent in Nifty Media, 0.12 percent in Nifty Metal, 0.64 percent in Nifty Pharma, 0.24 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Private Bank 0.43 percent in Nifty Healthcare index A rise of 0.52 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables saw a rise of 0.19 percent, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare saw a rise of 0.30 percent. Apart from this, a decline of 0.06 percent was seen in Nifty Midsmall IT & Telecom, 0.07 percent in Nifty Oil & Gas, 0.18 percent in Nifty Realty and 0.18 percent in Nifty IT.
