The domestic stock market started firmly on Wednesday. Positive signs from global markets and the rise in select shares between the results of the June quarter (first quarter of FY 26) stressed the perception of investors. In early trade, the BSE Sensex rose 198 points to 82,384, while the Nifty rose 74 points to 25,135. The movement in midcap and smallcap stocks was limited. The Nifty Midcap index recorded a slight increase of 0.06%, while the Smallcap index fell 0.02%.
Asian markets boom
On Wednesday, the Asia-Pacific markets saw strength. Japan’s Nikkei index climbed 2.5%. Indeed, US President Donald Trump has announced a large business agreement with Japan, showing enthusiasm among investors. Trump said that the deal would invest $ 550 billion in the US with this deal and the US will benefit 90 percent of it. The deal states to open business routes for automobiles, rice and agricultural products. This is also expected to create millions of jobs in the US. Nikkei index rose by 1.85% on Wednesday morning, while the topics index increased by 1.95%. Australia’s ASX 200 index rose 0.55%, while Korea’s Kospi index remained almost stable.

There was a mixed trend in the US markets on Tuesday.
The S&P 500 index rose mild 0.06% to a record high of 6,309.62 at a high level.
Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 179.37 points to close at 44,502.44.
Nasdaq composite fell 0.39% to close at 20,892.69.
The quarterly results will be monitored
The market will be eyeing the results of the June quarter (Q1) today. Companies such as Dixon Technologies, Paytm, IRFC, United Bruge, Dalmia India, Jenner Tech, KEI Industries and JSW Infrastructure have declared their results, which will be seen by investors. Apart from this, today the companies whose results are to come, Infosys, Tata Consumer Products, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Bajaj Housing, SRF, Perserent Systems, Oracle Financial, Koforge, Sainge International, Aditya Birla Renewables, FM, Bikaji Foods, Mahindra Scooter, PCBAL CEing Petrochem, Sirma SGS, Tata Teleservices and Westlife Foods are included.
