The Indian stock market opened with gains today on Wednesday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened today at 76,900 with a gain of 401 points. Sensex also witnessed a rise in early trade. It was seen trading at 76,760, up 0.33 percent or 261 points. In early trading, out of 30 Sensex shares, 22 shares were on the green mark and 8 shares were on the red mark. National Stock Exchange index Nifty was currently seen trading at 23,250 with a gain of 0.32 percent or 74 points. Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 43 shares were seen trading on green mark, 4 shares were on red mark and 4 shares were seen trading without any change.
Condition of Nifty shares
Among the Nifty pack shares, the biggest rise was seen in Maruti by 2.80 percent, Bajaj-Auto by 1.95 percent, NTPC by 1.84 percent, BPCL by 1.76 percent and IndusInd Bank by 1.67 percent. At the same time, the maximum decline was seen in Shriram Finance by 2.35 percent, Bajaj Finserv by 1.72 percent, Dr. Reddy by 1.50 percent, Tat Consumer by 1.45 percent and Bajaj Finance by 1.40 percent.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the biggest decline was seen in Nifty Midsmall Healthcare by 1.71 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Healthcare index fell 1.70 per cent, Nifty Bank 0.12 per cent, Nifty Financial Services 0.41 per cent, Nifty FMCG 0.28 per cent, Nifty Media 0.62 per cent, Nifty PSU Bank 0.32 per cent, Nifty Private Bank 0.18 per cent, Nifty 0.53 percent in realty, Nifty Consumer durables showed a decline of 0.62 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Auto saw a rise of 0.23 percent, Nifty IT saw a rise of 0.13 percent, Nifty Metal saw a rise of 0.21 percent, and Nifty Oil & Gas saw a rise of 0.44 percent.
