India’s largest carmaker Maruti is updating its existing cars or launching their new variants in the year 2022. In which the company is going to launch the facelift versions of Maruti Ertiga, XL6 and Vitara Brezza very soon after introducing Maruti Baleno and Celerio in new avatar.
In which we are talking about the Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift, which along with the mid-size SUV segment, remains at the top of the list of popular and best selling cars of its company. The company is preparing to launch the new generation Vitara Brezza with updated design, features and engine.
According to media reports, while updating the engine of this new generation Vitara Brezza, the company is going to give 1.5 liter naturally aspirated K15 petrol engine in it. This engine will generate power of 115 bhp which is more powerful than the current engine.
Apart from this, if reports are to be believed, the company can also launch the facelift version of this Maruti Vitara Brezza with the company fitted CNG kit. After which it will become the first mid-size SUV in its segment to come with a CNG kit.
Apart from updating the engine of the Vitara Brezza facelift, the company may also update its transmission in which the existing 5-speed manual gearbox can be paired with the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Talking about the features, the company is going to provide more advanced and updated features than the current Vitara Brezza, in which new features like panoramic sunroof, 360 degree camera, heads up display, paddle shifters will be given.

Apart from this, the size of the 7-inch infotainment display can be increased to 10.25 inches, which will support the connectivity of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, safety features like wireless charging, full digital instrument cluster, auto AC, 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic stability program can also be added.
The company has not made any announcement regarding the price yet, but after the update features and engine information, according to experts, the company can launch this Maruti Vitara Brezza facelift with a starting price of Rs 8.5 lakh.
After being launched in the mid-size SUV segment, the new Maruti Vitara Brezza will compete with SUVs like Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Renault Chiger, Nissan Magnite and Kia Sonet.
