The maximum operational speed of this train during its service will be 160 kilometers per hour.

Railways said that the design and interior of Vande Bharat Sleeper train is very attractive and world class passenger facilities have been provided in it. This train has integrated reading lights with USB charging provision, public announcement and visual information system, inside display panel, security cameras and modular pantry. Along with this, special berths and toilets have been provided for Divyang passengers. Apart from this, hot water shower facility has also been provided for passengers in the First AC coach.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav today visited the production unit in Bengaluru and inspected the production of Vande Bharat Sleeper train set there. During this, Union Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna was also present with him. The Railway Minister interacted with the employees working in the production of Vande Bharat Sleeper and also encouraged them.
