New Delhi. The Narendra Modi government has decided to give great relief to the common people of the country through GST reform. This improvement in GST will be applicable from 22 September. Now, taking a decision in the interest of businessmen, the Modi government is going to get rid of the tariff imposed by US President Donald Trump. The central government may announce a special package very soon for exporters. The 50 per cent tariffs imposed by the US have affected Indian exporters who are associated with textile and apparel, jewelry, jewelery industry.
Apart from this, exporters associated with leather, footwear, agriculture, chemicals and engineering products and sea exports are also facing challenges due to tariffs. The government is considering an incentive package for such exporters. The government’s effort is also on the solution to the problem of liquidity of small exporters, the purpose of reducing capital pressure in the working, to preserve the jobs of workers in these areas. According to a report by ‘India Today’, the government wants them to continue production until these exporters get a new market to sell their products. Therefore, the government is considering bringing a relief package as was brought to the MSME sector at the time of Kovid.

No matter what happens, no compromise will be made with the interests of farmers, small traders, cattle rearers etc. The government has abolished two slabs of GST 12 per cent and 28 per cent. Now only two GST slabs in the country will be 5 percent and 18 percent. In the 56th meeting of the GST Council, it has been decided to give great relief to the people.
