New Delhi, March 17 (IANS). The Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance Department (DARPG) said on Monday that a total of 50,088 public grievances were redressed by the states and union territories through the centralized portal in February this year.
The government was informed that the pending number of such cases on the Centralized Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) portal is 1,90,994.
The report also said that a total of 47,599 new users were registered on this portal during February, out of which 7,312 registrations have been held in the country’s largest state Uttar Pradesh.
The report also gave a state -wise analysis of complaints lodged through Common Service Centers in February. CPGRAMS has been integrated with the Common Service Center (CSC) portal.
The report stated that in February 2025, 5,580 complaints have been filed through CSC, of which most complaints have been registered with Uttar Pradesh (1,697 complaints), after which 838 complaints have been filed in Punjab.
In February 2025, the highest number of complaints were received in Uttar Pradesh, whose number was 21,763.
In the last month, more than 1,000 complaints have been registered by 12 states and union territories.
In February 2025, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat settled the most complaints, which were 21,511 and 2,916 respectively.
In this report, the grant issued under the Sevottam scheme in FY 2022-23 and FY 2023-24 is also mentioned. 756 training courses have been completed in the last three financial years (2022–23, 2023-24, 2024-25), with about 24,942 officers trained.
The report stated that the specific cases dealt with during the month include a complaint of street vendor Sudhanshu Sharma, whose incorrect bank details had stalled his application for a loan of Rs 10,000 under the PM-Swaraidhi Yojana. This loan application has now been approved.
