Due to the expansion of distribution network with better demand and production capacity of its food products, the trading of Mother Dairy in the current financial year 2024-25 is expected to increase by 15 percent to more than Rs 17,000 crore. In addition to milk and other dairy products, Mother Dairy sells edible oil under the brand and horticulture (fresh and freeze fruits and vegetables) under the brand under the brand and ‘successful’ brand. Business of Rs 17,000 crore this year
Bandalish said, “We will conclude the year with an impressive growth of 15 percent in the current financial year with a turnover of more than Rs 17,000 crore.” In FY 2023-24, Mother Dairy achieved a business of Rs 15,037 crore. Was. The dairy business contributed about 75 percent to the total annual revenue. Bandalish said, “This strong performance is a proof of our strategic initiative. Beyond Delhi-NCR, we are increasing attendance at the national level, strengthening our reach through the new generation distribution channel. The manufacturing capacity is expanding and introducing new exciting products to attract consumers. ”
Great milk processing plant is setting up
Mother Dairy is setting up a huge milk processing plant in Nagpur, Maharashtra with an estimated investment of over Rs 500 crore for capacity expansion. This new feature is expected to be operational by 2026 and will supply products to the markets in the central and southern regions. In the horticulture business, Mother Dairy has laid the foundation stone of two integrated fruits and vegetable processing facilities. One of these is in Etola, Vadodara, Gujarat and the other in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, the company has set up two new plants with an estimated investment of Rs 350 crore under the successful brand. In the current financial year, the company has launched 30 new products in various categories. Mother Dairy was established in 1974. It is now a complete owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Mother Dairy has nine milk processing plants owned by the company and four facilities for horticulture business. The company has 16 assistant plants for edible oil. Mother has also landed in dairy bread and bakery sector.
