MSME
MSME companies have sought to set up a single window consultation system and implement quality control orders (QCOs) in a phased manner to ensure better compliance with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The Bharat SME Forum said in a statement released on Saturday that during the Round Table Conference held this week, representatives of the MSME industry emphasized the need for more clarity, fairness and preparation in the regulatory structure. Representatives say that such a structure will encourage the growth of MSME and play an important role in increasing competition, quality and exports.
It is not possible to sell the store
MSME companies have expressed concern about lack of clarity in BIS certification requirements and transitional deadline. He says that the existing quality control order (QCO) does not take into account the items that were built or imported before the notification, which may cause difficulty in selling the existing stock. According to the India SME Forum, MSME representatives also stated that the BIS portal lacks such devices that can help easily identify the implemented standards or to verify certificates. Due to this, it has become quite challenging for small businesses to comply with the rules of expensive professional assistance.
The India SME Forum has launched a seller Shiksha Abhiyan to address important areas like QCO and BIS Certification in partnership with Amazon. Amit Nanda, director of the sales partner service at Amazon India, said that we work closely with sellers to win the trust of customers and gain growth.
Will help equip with equipment
Nanda said that this initiative helps MSME to meet regulatory requirements and equip the knowledge and equipment required to succeed in the digital economy. Vinod Kumar, president of India SME Forum, said that MSMEs need to strengthen cooperation between vendors and regulators to help them succeed in the digital commerce scenario.
