New Delhi, 9 July (IANS). Union Steel and Heavy Industries Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Wednesday inaugurated the new corporate office of MSTC Limited at Narignagar, World Trade Center in the national capital. Along with this, he also officially launched the equipment e-portal, which is a major step in MSTC’s digital service offering.
The Ministry of Steel said that equipment e-portal is a digital market that will act as a bridge between industry and innovation. This will support MSME and promote transparent, efficient business in important areas.
The ministry said that as a major part of the digital infrastructure, the ‘equipment’ would increase confidence, competitiveness and nationwide access to the entire ecosistin.
It is designed as a complete digital platform for equipment, machinery inventory management and procurement of machinery.
The statement issued by the Ministry said that it enables various government departments, public undertakings and institutions to lie, transfer, or settle inactive or surplus properties in a uninterrupted and transparent manner. This initiative will not only optimize the use of resources in public bodies but will also contribute significantly to cost-evidence and stability in government work.
With the establishment of a new office at Delhi’s policy center, MSTC will get inter-ministerial coordination and better access to national stakeholders.
In the inauguration program of the new office, Union Minister Kumaraswamy said that MSTC is not just an institutional property, it is a symbol of how technology and governance can serve the nation together. The Ministry of Steel is committed to supporting MSTC as it is taking even more responsibilities in the development journey of the country.
He further said that as India is moving towards its goal of becoming a global economic superpower, the role of MSTC will remain important in facilitating transparent, skilled and safe economic exchange.
