Mukesh Ambani's Big Gift To Shareholders: 35 lakh shareholders of Reliance are in for a treat, they will get bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1

New Delhi. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani has given a big gift to the company’s 35 lakh shareholders. In the Annual General Meeting (AGM), Ambani has announced to give bonus shares to the shareholders in the ratio of 1:1. The company will give one bonus share in exchange of one share to every shareholder. For example, if someone has 50 shares of Reliance Industries, then the company will give him 50 bonus shares and in this way the shareholder will have 100 shares. In this regard, the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on September 5 in which it will be finalized.

Addressing shareholders during the company’s 47th Annual General Meeting, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani first congratulated visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his victory for the third consecutive time. He said that the 2024 parliamentary elections have given a great result. The victory of India’s vibrant democracy has enhanced India’s reputation globally and it augurs well for the growth prospects of our economy.

Mukesh Ambani, referring to his late father Dhirubhai Ambani, said that the founder of our company firmly believed that shareholders are the backbone of Reliance and you deserve to be rewarded from time to time, as your company is constantly growing stronger. I have full confidence in strong performance and bright future. When Reliance grows, we give good returns to our shareholders and when our shareholders get good returns, Reliance progresses even faster.

Ambani pointed out that Reliance continues to be the largest contributor to the national exchequer, contributing Rs 1,86,440 crore through various taxes and levies in FY 2023-2024. In the last three years, Reliance’s contribution to the exchequer has exceeded Rs 5.5 lakh crore, the highest by any Indian corporate.
