Infosys co-founder NR Narayan Murthy has said that poverty will not be removed from free things, but it will end with the job creation of innovative entrepreneurs. In the Tycon Mumbai-2025 program, Murthy called upon Entrepreneurs to focus on making more companies and businesses. He said that if we are capable of making innovative enterprises, poverty will be ‘disappeared’ like a sunny morning dew.

Poverty will not be removed from free things

Addressing a group of entrepreneurs, Murthy said, “I have no doubt that each of you will create hundreds of thousands of jobs and similarly you will solve the problem of poverty.” You cannot solve the problem of poverty by giving free gifts, no country has succeeded in it. ”This statement of Infosys co-founder has come at a time when things have been given for free and their cost has been debated. Later, Murthy clarified that he did not know much about politics or governance, but he has made some recommendations from the perspective of policy structure.

Assessment of improvement in status

He said that the improvement in the situation should also be assessed in return for profit. Giving the example of free electricity up to 200 units per month, Murthy said that after six months in such houses, the state can find out whether children are studying more or not. He also said that most of the AI solutions sold these days are ‘silly, old programs’, which are promoted as future work. AI includes ‘machine learning’ and ‘deep learning’ capabilities.
