Today, market closed in green mark for the second consecutive day
Share Market Closing 26th May, 2025: The Indian stock market shut down business on Monday. On the first day of the week, the BSE Sensex rose 455.37 points (0.56%) to close at 82,176.45 points. Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 25,001.15 points with a gain of 148.00 points (0.60%). Let us tell you that at one time the Sensex was trading at 82,492.24 points and the Nifty was trading at 25,079.20 points. However, this boom in the market did not last long and under the pressure of selling, it was reduced to a big lead.
Autonal decline in Eaterial shares
Today, 22 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed with an increase in green mark and the remaining 8 companies closed in red mark with losses. On the other hand, today the shares of 38 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed in green mark and the remaining 12 companies closed in red mark. Today, Mahindra & Mahindra’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed down 2.17 per cent, while Eaterial shares closed down 4.55 per cent.
HCL, Tata Motors’ shares also gain good lead
On the first day of the week, HCL Tech shares included in the Sensex 1.55 percent, Tata Motors 1.51 percent, Nestle India 1.51 percent, ITC 1.50 percent, Hindustan Unilever 1.41 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.29 percent, Larsen & Toubro 1.23 percent, Infosys 1.12 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.98 percent, Tetan 0.98 percent, Taitan 0.90 percent, Tetan 0.90 percent, Tetan 0.74 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.72 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.65 percent, TCS 0.63 percent, Reliance Industries 0.61 percent, Asian Paints 0.45 percent, SBI 0.42 percent, HDFC Bank 0.39 percent, Axis Bank 0.32 percent, Axis Bank 0.32 percent, Adani ports 0.17 percent and Bajaj Finance Share 0.14 percent Closed together.
Ultratech cement, powergrid stocks broken
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement shares today closed down 0.47 percent, Powergrid 0.39 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.30 percent, NTPC 0.30 percent, Tata Steel 0.28 percent, Sunforma 0.19 percent and Maruti Suzuki’s shares closed down by 0.17 percent.
