New Delhi, May 2 (IANS). NITI Aayog on Friday partnered with the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) to promote vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem in the states of India.
This cooperation will focus on advancing location-based interventions, which will begin with pilot sites in Nagpur, Visakhapatnam and Uttar Pradesh.
The objective of this cooperation is to empower local entrepreneurs by bringing local stakeholders relevant in the entrepreneurship ecosystem of that particular field including government, corporate, educational institutions, financial institutions, champion entrepreneurs and community organizations.
Ishtiaq Ahmed, Program Director of Industry/MSME Warticle at NITI Aayog, said, “Our approach is based on end-to-end facility and cooperation in all fields. There is a need to avail bottom-up approach to support them, understand their needs, understand their needs, to support them.”
Under this partnership, pilot sites will implement the proven methods of GAME, which focus on making entrepreneurs able to start and enhance business.
These interventions include access to finance, capacity building programs, policy advocacy and community-conducted initiatives. The final goal of the partnership is to create a self -sufficient ecosystem, which can create extensive employment opportunities.
GAME President Ketul Acharya said, “In GAME, we believe in entrepreneurship to change life and communities. Our partnership with NITI Aayog is an important step towards realizing our mission to realize our mission ‘To start millions of people to start and enhance business’, which will use local inputs to serve local needs and other markets.
Acharya said, “Together, our goal is to create such a rich local ecosystem, which inspire innovation and promote inclusive development.”
GAME was launched at 2018, which has been at the forefront of promoting large -scale entrepreneurship. GAME has made tireless efforts through research, pilot programs and policy advocacy to introduce the capacity of entrepreneurs across India.
GAME initiatives have strengthened women entrepreneurs, strengthened MSME ecosystem and promoted permanent trade models in underprivileged areas.
This cooperation will create a local solution to suit the unique challenges of each region. This will address systemic obstacles for entrepreneurship and turn it into a movement that will promote economic growth and employment generation.
