Electronics Manufacturing Service Company Dixon Technologies are now preparing to enter the Electronics Component Manufacturing sector. The company’s CEO Atul Lal said that initially these parts will be used by Dixon for their needs and later export will be considered. He described the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme as the next stage of the company’s development. Lal said that Dixon has already started a project for the display module and is evaluating other component categories such as camera modules, mechanical enclosures and lithium ion batteries, for which she will participate seriously in ECMS.
Company will expand production
He says that the company will expand production to meet the needs of external markets after personal use and in some parts India and Dixon will become competitive globally, making them part of the global price chain. Dixon makes smartphones for many brands such as Motorola, Xiaomi and has compromised for expansion of manufacturing facility with Vivo, as well as manufacturing laptops for HP.
An incentive scheme of Rs 22,919 crore
The government has recently approved an incentive scheme of Rs 22,919 crore for non-semiconductor electronics parts, expecting 91,600 direct employment and an investment of about Rs 59,350 crore. Meanwhile, according to sources, Tata Electronics can also invest Rs 2,000 crore for manufacturing electronics parts under this scheme, although the company has not commented on it.
