New Delhi, 3 June (IANS). Chat GPT manufacturer OpenAI on Tuesday announced the next phase of its global ‘AI for Impact Accelerator Program’ in India.
As part of this initiative, 11 non-profit organizations will receive new API credits, giving the total value of technical grants to $ 1,50,000 under this initiative.
OpenAI API Credit acts as a prepaid payment method, which means that instead of depending on monthly billing via credit card, users can buy credits in advance and use them as needed.
This effort is now part of the broad ‘OpenAI Academy’, which aims to make AI more accessible, useful and capable of resolving real challenges.
According to the company, in the last one year, Indian non-profit organizations supported through this program have developed and deploy AI tools in important areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, disability inclination and gender equality.
The event is being run in partnership with agency Fund, Tech 4 DEV and Turn.com.
As part of its support, OpenAI also organized a workshop in India to showcase the capabilities of its latest AI model, helping these organizations to create large -scale solutions.
The initiative is associated with ‘India AI Mission’, which aims to make AI access to AI, develop a strong ecosystem and develop technical solutions to India’s unique, social and economic needs.
The Group of India includes organizations that are taking the help of AI to face large -scale challenges.
The policy and partnership chief Pragya Mishra at OpenAI India praised the Indian group for using AI in a thoughtful and effective way.
He said that the organizations reflect the values of ‘India AI Mission’ and show how advanced technology can be used with sympathy and creativity to solve difficult problems.
OpenAI plans to expand the initiative in India, expecting new organizations to attend the event later this year.
