Petrol Diesel Price Today 26 March: Government Oil Companies (IOCL) have released new rates of petrol and diesel. Today, once again on Saturday, an increase in the price of petrol and diesel has been seen. Petrol-Diesel prices have been increased by 70-80 paise in most cities including Delhi on Saturday, March 26. Petrol has become costlier by 70 paise today, while diesel has become costlier by 80 paise per litre. Let us tell you that this is the fourth increase in the last five days. Oil companies have continued to hike petrol and diesel prices from March 22 (except March 24). In this way, the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 3.10 in five days.

After this increase, today the price of one liter of petrol in the national capital Delhi has gone up to Rs 98.61 (Delhi Petrol Price), while the price of diesel is Rs 89.87 (Delhi Diesel Price). At the same time, petrol in Mumbai is getting costlier by 84 paise and is being sold at the rate of Rs 113.35 per liter, while diesel is at Rs 97.55. At the same time, petrol has become costlier by 83 paise in Kolkata today and it has increased from ₹ 107.18 to ₹ 108.01 per liter. Diesel in Kolkata is sold at Rs 93.01 per liter. Talking about Chennai, here today an increase of 76 paise has been registered in the price of one liter of petrol and it has reached Rs 104.43 a liter and diesel is getting Rs 94.47 a liter.

There was an increase after 137 days
Petrol and diesel prices were increased on 22 March after remaining stable for a record 137 days. After this, on 23 March also their prices were increased by 80 paise per liter. Prices were kept stable on 24 March, after which petrol and diesel prices have increased across the country on 25 March. The prices of petroleum products remained stable since November 4, 2021, before the assembly election process began in five states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. However, the price of crude oil rose to $140 a barrel during this period.
